Northborough, MA – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 Division II Academic Honor Squads and Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday afternoon, with Adelphi University's women's lacrosse program receiving top academic recognition on both fronts.

Adelphi was one of 357 schools to be named an IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Squad, recognizing programs that achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher. The Cats were responsible for posting a 3.558 team GPA in 2025-26. Additionally, ten Panther student-athletes were named to the 2026 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll, which honors upperclassmen (juniors, seniors, or Graduate Students) who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above. The IWLCA honored 568 student-athletes from 65 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. 

This is the second consecutive season that Adelphi has double-digit honorees, after securing nine nods following the 2024 season. 

Head coach Pat McCabe and his team won the program's ninth Northeast 10 Championship this past May, alongside its regular season title and made its 20th appearance in the NCAA tournament. The team concluded the season with a 14-5 overall record.
