Baseball Falls Late to Southern Connecticut State, 6-4

The team tied the game in the top of the eighth but were unable to hold off the Owls.

New Haven, CT - With two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Southern Connecticut State baseball team captured a 6-4 victory over the Adelphi University baseball team on Wednesday afternoon. The Panthers scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to tie the game, but were unable to pick up the win. Adelphi falls to 18-17 overall and 7-7 in the Southwest division as the hosts improve to 18-13-1 on the season and 7-4 in divisional play.
