Men's Tennis Stopped By Bentley, 5-2

Falcons snap Panthers' four-match winning streak.

Justin Vijungco ran his personal winning streak at No. 6 singles to 11 matches.
Waltham, Mass. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team had its four-match winning streak snapped at the hands of the Falcons of Bentley University on the road on Friday afternoon. After falling behind 2-1 at the end of doubles play, the Panthers were unable to secure enough points in singles to come away with the win. With the loss, the Panthers drop to 9-6 overall and 7-2 in the NE-10, while the Falcons improve to 10-7 overall and nudge past Adelphi in the NE-10 standings at 8-2.

The Panthers' lone point in doubles play came courtesy of a gritty effort at the No. 2 spot by Uladzislau Litvinchuk and Sander Brenner. The pair, riding a four match streak at second flight doubles, squeaked out a 9-8 (7-3) tiebreak win against Jimmy Rindo and Andrew Waddington. The duo hold a 10-4 overall record on the season, with all but one match coming at No. 2 doubles.
