Box Score 2 Albany, N.Y. - The Adelphi University baseball team traveled north for an intra-division Northeast-10 conference doubleheader against the College of Saint Rose at Bob Belizzi Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The Golden Knights won the opener in the ninth inning 2-1 followed by a 10-6 finale, courtesy of a season-high 16 hits. Adelphi now stands at 14-14 overall and an even 4-4 in the Southwest Division as the hosts improve to 11-16 overall and 5-1 in divisional play.

Game 1Scoreless through the first two and a half innings, the College of Saint Rose Golden Knights were the first to appear on the scoreboard, as Reed came around to score on a Z. Bellinger double down the right field line. 
The next five innings would continue on scoreless as starter 
Jonathon Mulford held the hosts to just one hit. In the top of the ninth inning, the Panthers evened the score at one on one hit, stranding three on base at the conclusion of the inning. 
Nick Zito drew a walk with one out and pinch runner 
John Campbell would come around to score two batters later, as 
Brandon Stahl singled to left field. 
Saint Rose capitalized on back-to-back fielding errors by Adelphi and a pitching change to load the bases in the bottom of the ninth. Flynn singled to pick up an RBI and earn a 2-1 decision for the Golden Knights. 
Game 2Keeping the momentum from the first game going, the host team picked up two runs in the bottom of the first to lead 2-0. Adelphi answered back in the top of the second, pushing across two runs of their own. Zito led off the inning with a single up the middle. He and 
Daniel Taliercio were later driven in by 
Michael Stack, who blasted a triple to right field. 
Saint Rose made it 6-2 in the third and 7-2 in the seventh, before the Panthers pulled to within a run by scoring four times in the eighth. 
Eric Hassell had a three run, pinch hit double that scored Rich Mejia, 
Donato Signore and Zito. The Golden Knights answered right back though with three runs in their half of the eighth to account for the final score.
Signore went 2-for-4 in game two with one run scored for the Brown and Gold.
The teams will meet again for a single-game on Sunday, April 13 at Bob Belizzi Field with the first pitch slated for 12:00 p.m.
