Syracuse, N.Y. – Earlier this afternoon, the Adelphi University men's tennis team traveled to Le Moyne College on for a Northeast-10 Conference match. The Panthers recorded a 9-0 victory to improve to 11-7 overall and 5-3 in the Northeast-10, while the Dolphins drop to 1-11 and remain winless in the NE-10 at 0-9.
After
Andreas Hammar and
Bryan Kallenberg teamed up for a tough 8-6 win at top-flight doubles, the Panthers dominated the rest of the match.
Sander Brenner and
Boris Tiberkov rolled to an 8-2 victory at second doubles while
Alan Chocron and
Chiwete Njokanma blanked their opponents 8-0 at third doubles.
In solo play, the Panthers were equally as dominant. Hammar and Kallenberg posted 6-0, 6-1 wins, and Brenner and
Boris Tiberkov recorded a double bagel victory to secure the top three singles slots; Njokanma also matched that result at sixth singles.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, April 13 when they host American International College in a 2:30 pm Northeast-10 match.
