Men's Tennis Bounces Back with 8-1 Win at Saint Michael's

Panthers sweep singles play, remain unbeaten in NE-10 action

Colchester, Vt. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 win at Saint Michael's College on Saturday, improving to 4-6 overall and preserving a perfect 4-0 mark in Northeast-10 Conference play. The Purple Knights shift to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in league action.

The Panthers swept singles play with Bryan Kallenberg leading the charge, earning a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles. Saint Michael's won a hard-faught 9-8 (8-6) decision at the top singles position, but Adelphi resumed dominant play in both remaining doubles matches.

The Panthers return to action at Saint Anselm College for an NE-10 match at 10 a.m. today.
