Washington D.C. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team lost its fourth consecutive match with a 9-0 setback at the University of the District of Columbia on Sunday. The Panthers stand at 2-5 after the non-conference loss, while the Firebirds remain unbeaten at 8-0.

Adrish Tewarie put up the best fight of the day in an 8-6 loss at the top doubles slot, while
Chiwete Njokanma battled in a 6-3, 7-5 defeat at the No. 2 singles position.
The Panthers open the spring half of their Northeast-10 Conference slate when they travel to Pace Univeristy on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. match.
