Adelphi kept the pressure on getting two more runs in the bottom of the fourth as Paige Rhodes scored on a wild pitch and an illegal pitch brought home Maria Canino, who was pinch running for Leo. Katie Andrews did the rest of the work, holding Assumption scoreless for the final three innings to pick up the 5-2 win.
In all Andrews tossed 6.2 innings of scoreless softball, striking out five and giving up just four hits. Rhodes started the game striking out one and allowing two runs.
