Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced its Fall 2026 promotion dates, starting with the Pantherfest Kickoff on Tuesday, September 15 when men's soccer takes on Caldwell University at 7:00 p.m.

After a successful turnout in the fall of 2024, the Student Government Association and Athletics seek to bring back this tradition to welcome the new freshman class, transfer students and celebrate Panther pride. The promotion night includes a Panther Plush Giveaway and a $5.00 Baya Bar gift card to the first 100 Adelphi students in attendance. Free raffles will also be available for all students for a chance to win an Apple iPad and Apple Pencil and Nintendo DS or an Adelphi Athletics prize pack filled with merchandise and $150.00 in sponsor gift cards.

Athletics sponsors will also be on-site distributing free food and giveaways.

The premium Athletics giveaway for the fall semester will feature an Adelphi Athletics quarterzip for Adelphi students attending the volleyball match on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Center for Recreation and Sports.

Lastly, Athletics is excited to welcome local youth clubs and their families to campus during their youth promotion dates this fall, three of which are taking place during the University's annual Spirit Weekend celebration. Each youth promotion will be sponsored by an Adelphi Athletics corporate sponsor, providing free coupons and giveaways for both kids and parents. Admission is free for all in attendance.
