Garden City, N.Y. - Spirit Weekend is Adelphi's annual celebration of all things Panthers—from student life to alumni, family, and friends. It's a chance to reconnect, celebrate traditions, and make new memories, all starting on Wednesday, October 14 and running through October 18.
October 14 features the Spirit Weekend Kickoff event - taking place on campus at noon, the entire campus is invited to attend. The afternoon will feature desserts, giveaways, photo opportunities, a vendor fair and more.
Returning for its second year, Panther Madness, hosted my emcee Justina Valentine will kick off the basketball season with the Adelphi Community.

- 10:00 AM Adelphi Baseball Alumni Event - William J. Bonomo Field (open to baseball alumni and guests)
- 12:00 PM Adelphi Men's Soccer vs. Southern New Hampshire - Motamed Field (open to all, no tickets)
- 3:00 PM Adelphi Field Hockey vs. Southern New Hampshire- Motamed Field (open to all, no tickets)
- 6:00 PM Adelphi Women's Soccer vs. Southern New Hampshire - Motamed Field (open to all, no tickets)
- 1:00 PM Adelphi Swimming & Diving Alumni Meet - Arvilla Nolan Pool, Woodruff Hall (open to swimming alumni and guests)
Closing out the weekend, our community members, families, friends and alumni are encouraged to participate in the Panthers for a Cause 5K on campus on Sunday, Oct. 18 - this year's funds will benefit the Nassau Suffolk Autism Society of America.
Following the on-campus run, Adelphi fans, friends, and alumni are welcome to attend a pregame tailgate for a men's lacrosse scrimmage against the U.S. Naval Academy (location TBD) before opening faceoff at 1:00 p.m. on Motamed Field.
