North Attleboro, Mass. - For the first time since the 2018 season, the Adelphi University women's lacrosse team has been named the outright Northeast 10 Conference Regular Season Champions following the conlcusion of the regular season earlier this week.
It's the first time Adelphi has won a share of the crown in consecutive years since 2016.
Hitting their stride over the back half of the season, the 11-4 (9-0) Panthers haven't lost since March 7, after an 0-4 start to the year. They tout the conference's No. 2 offense and No. 3 defense and NE10 leading goal scorer
Ashley Kolomechuk.
Pace and Southern Connecticut check in at No. 2 and No. 3 in the bracket. For the Setters, it snaps a three year run of claiming at least a portion of the regular season championship. For SCSU it caps an historic regular season that saw the Owls set a program record for single-season wins and break into the national rankings for the first time. For the full tournament field and schedule, see below.
With the top-seed, the Panthers earn a first round bye in 2026, and will host the semifinal round on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m.
Adelphi and Pace have met in each of the last two NE10 Championships and NCAA Regional Championships, splitting the conference crowns with AU winning both NCAA matchups. Either Pace or Adelphi has played in 13 of the last 15 NE10 Championship finals, with AU's eight titles being the most among active programs in the conference. Only Pace, Bentley and Saint Michael's have also won it all.
