Colonia, N.J. – The East Coast Conference Bowling Championship kicks off on Friday, and with the league welcoming all of its bowlers to Hackensack, N.J. this weekend, it has unveiled its 2026 All-Conference teams on Thursday. Representing the Adelphi University bowling team is standout freshman Marissa Funk, who was named Second Team All-ECC.

Funk earns her first conference honor and is the first Panther to make an All-ECC team since Blanca Fraticelli in 2024.

According to the Player Composite Performance Index, Funk ranks as the seventh-best bowler in the conference.

Bowling every frame for Adelphi, Funk ranked in the top 10 of the ECC in 15 different categories. Her two best rankings were third in overall single-pin spare conversion rate (88.5%) and fifth in individual fill percentage (81.3%).

Funk recorded an overall scoring average of 19.05 per frame and had a strike rate of 43%.

The freshman was a three-time ECC Weekly Honor Roll member, one-time Bowler of the Week, and was named to the NJ Open All-Tournament Team.

Funk and the Panthers are looking to win the ECC Championship this weekend (Mar. 20-22) at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack.
