Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the upcoming promotion dates for the fall semester for volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer.
The annual fall tailgate with the Student Government Association will be held this fall on Tuesday, Sept. 16 as half of our fall teams look to start their seasons strong at home. Women's Soccer will play at 4:00 p.m., with men's soccer to follow at 7:00 p.m.. Athletics' corporate sponsor Baya Bar will be in attendance handing out 100 free smoothies on a first come, first serve basis.
All students in attendance will also have the opportunity to participate in a free raffle for an Apple iPad and Apple Pencil, which includes premium Adelphi Athletics merchandise and $100.00 in corporate sponsor gift cards. Tailgate festivities will begin in Parking Lot 3 at approximately 5:00 p.m. behind Motamed Field.
The department will also host multiple promotional events per program this fall - one being a youth day promotion for each sport. Saturday, Sept. 27 kicks off the first of three youth days with a soccer doubleheader as Adelphi men's soccer takes on Saint Michael's College at 12:00 p.m. and women's soccer takes on Saint Anselm College at 3:00 p.m. Youth Volleyball Night will take place on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6:00 p.m. For more information on the youth day promotions and how to register, please visit the website links below.

The premium athletics giveaway for the fall semester will be at the Volleyball game on Thursday, Oct. 16 against local rivals, Molloy University. The first 50 students in attendance will receive a custom Adelphi Athletics Croc Charm!
Be ready to participate in a lively atmosphere and plenty of fun. Bring your friends, wear your Panther gear, and get ready for an unforgettable fan experience this fall!
