Mansfield, Mass. — Twenty-three Adelphi student-athletes have been named to their respective Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference teams, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
The 23 selections for Adelphi, who all met the 3.30 cumulative grade-point average to be eligible for nomination, were the most in the conference and the most spring honorees the school has ever received, surpassing the previous high of 19 that was achieved in 2024. This extraordinary group included 13 all-conference selections and three current CSC Academic All-Americans in Marko Jovanovic, Hugo Munoz Reinoso, and Katarina Liedbeck. Valencia Beaubrun, Lucia Kutner, Amari Johnson, Bryan Combary, Jake Orfano, Amanda Lee, Danielle Becker, Rita Sefransky, Filippa Schulze Doering, Kyle Lewis, Ryan Durnin and Michael Durnin are all currently up for academic all-America consideration with the teams being released in the coming weeks.
Six Cats achieved GPAs over a 3.9, led by three-time NE10 Player of the Year Jovanovic of the men's tennis team who earned a 3.985.
Women's tennis' number one starter Liedbeck was close behind with a 3.98.
The dynamic men's tennis pairing of Munoz Reinoso (3.972) and Reece Farrow (3.941) were among top of the class while also winning the ITA East Region Doubles Championship.
Mason Rivera, who earned a 3.97 GPA, was a top starter on the men's golf team and was named second team all-conference.
IWLCA All-East Region selection and NE10 champion Danielle Becker earned a 3.937 GPA while being a key piece of the women's lacrosse defense, leading the team in caused turnovers with 51.
Women's track and field MVP Valencia Beaubrun, who was the NE10 long jump champion achieved a GPA of 3.934.
Men's golf, men's tennis, women's tennis, women's outdoor track and field, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse all tied for the most selections of any Adelphi squad with three each.
