Cleveland, Ohio — After securing a second consecutive NE10 Presidents Cup, the Adelphi Panthers have once again found their way into the top 40 of the Learfield Directors' Cup Division II final standings.
Slotting in 37 out of 259 schools, the Cats led all NE10 schools with 428.50 points. Adelphi has now led the conference in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings six times (2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2018-19, 2023-24, 2024-25) during Danny McCabe's 12-year tenure as Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation.
"To finish in the Top 15% of the Learfield Director's Cup for the second year in a row is a testament to the quality of education that Adelphi University provides," McCabe said. "Our coaches are able to recruit the best and the brightest to Adelphi because families know that at Adelphi their sons and daughters will receive a top education with positive outcomes in the job market after graduation while also competing for championships on the fields of play."
The Panthers were the only NE10 squad within the top 50, holding a 82.5 point lead over Bentley who finished in 56th place.
