Garden City, N.Y. - With just four games remaining in the 2025 regular season, the Adelphi University softball team has announced a schedule shift, impacting the program's final stretch.

Due to projected showers on Saturday afternoon, the scheduled home finale against Saint Anselm College will now be played on Thursday, April 24. First pitch will take place at 2:30 p.m., serving as the team's Autism Awareness games. 

To accommodate this change, the final non-conference contests of the season against St. Thomas Aquinas College set for today, April 23, have been canceled to avoid playing four consecutive days. 

Finally, while there is no day or time change to Friday's (Apr. 25) action against Southern New Hampshire University, the games will now act as the program's Senior Day. First pitch will still be at 2 p.m., with seven seniors being honored in a pregame ceremony starting at 1:40.
