Glen Head, N.Y. - In an all-Division I tournament, the Adelphi University men's golf team took home a tenth place finish at the Long Island University Invitational, hosted by LIU at Brookville Country Club.
Clocking in a total score of 42-over 882 to lock into a tie with Siena College out of the 12 team tournament. Boston College took home the championship tallying a remarkable five-under 835.
Mitchell Archer showed he was fit for the competition, shooting a stellar 68 in the second round to ultimately tie for 13th place.
Mason Rivera also held his own after playing consistently, accumulating a 12-over 222 after 54 holes.
The last three team players for the Brown and Gold in
Francis Lanuza,
Alec Ramos, and
Johnny Solari all miraculously ended up with the same score, slotting in a grand tie at 55th place with a 16-over 226.
Individual
Kobe Currie rounded out the Panther scorecard, finishing with a 230, respectively.

David Mattana and Adelphi will be back in action for the Regional Preview hosted by Gannon University. The two-day tournament will take place from Monday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 22 at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa..
