Garden City, N.Y. - Spring promotion dates are blooming! The Adelphi University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the upcoming promotion dates for the spring semester for baseball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and softball. 

The department will host two promotional events per program this spring - one of each being a youth promotion. Saturday, Mar. 15 kicks off the first of four youth days as Adelphi women's lacrosse takes on East Stroudsburg University at 1:00 p.m. Baseball and men's lacrosse youth days will take place the following weekend on March 22 and 23, respectively. Softball Youth Day will take place during the doubleheader on Saturday, Apr. 5. For more information on the youth day promotions and how to register, please visit the website links below.

Youth Day Registration 
Women's Lacrosse vs. East Stroudsburg University 1:00 p.m. at Motamed Field
Baseball vs. Assumption University 12:00 p.m. (DH) at William J. Bonomo Memorial Field
Men's Lacrosse vs. Bentley University 1:00 p.m. at Motamed Field
Softball vs. American International College 12:00 p.m. (DH) at Janet L. Ficke Field

The department is also looking forward to partnering with a number of student organizations on campus this spring. On Tuesday, Mar. 25, Athletics is collaborating with the Commuter Student Organization to raffle off a $100.00 gas card through a social media giveaway during the baseball game. Adelphi blankets will also be given out at the game to commuters in attendance. 

The annual spring tailgate with the Student Government Association and Inter-Greek Council will be held on Tuesday, April 15 as men's lacrosse hosts conference rivals Pace University at 7:00 p.m. on Motamed Field.

The last two promotions of the year will feature a giveaway. All Adelphi fans in attendance will receive an Adelphi branded water bottle at the women's lacrosse game against the University of New Haven on Wednesday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, April 25, as softball takes on Southern New Hampshire University, all Adelphi fans will receive an Adelphi Athletics t-shirt (while supplies last).
