Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Department of Athletics has set its promotional calendar for the upcoming 2025-26 basketball season.

November 25 - Commuter Night 
An extension to Commuter Appreciation Week, the Commuter Student Organization and Adelphi Athletics will be hosting a Commuter Night on Tuesday, November 25 during the women's basketball game at 5:30 p.m. All commuters are invited to join us to participate in a free Thanksgiving themed raffle giveaway and a special halftime contest for a $100 Uber gift card. 

December 3 - SGA x IGC Tailgate/ Battle of the Greeks
On Wednesday, December 3, athletics will collaborate with the Student Government Association and the Inter-Greek Council for the basketball doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m. A pre-game tailgate will take place in the CRS Lobby beginning at 4:30 p.m. and will include hot chocolate and fondue. This collaboration will also feature the Battle of the Greeks. The organization with the highest percentage of attendees will win a free catering party, sponsored by Athletics corporate sponsor, Moe's Southwest Grill. 

December 16 - Ugly Sweater Theme Night
Join us in celebrating the holiday season on Ugly Sweater Theme Night on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. as the men's basketball team takes on Dominican University. The top three fans in attendance with the best ugly sweater will win a prize, with the top prize being $100 in corporate sponsorship gift cards. 

January 13 - Employee Appreciation Night
All Adelphi staff, faculty and union employees are invited to attend the second annual Employee Appreciation Night which will take place during the January 13 doubleheader versus conference rivals Pace University. Luigi's Pizzeria of Mineola will be sponsoring the event by providing their best dishes from their catering menu.

January 17 - Military Appreciation and Winter Alumni Day
On Saturday, January 17, the athletic department will host its second Military Appreciation and Winter Alumni Day. In collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations, the event will recognize retired and active military members in attendance and the first 200 fans will receive an Adelphi Athletics Camoflauge cap. 

January 27 - Make a Wish Awareness Night x Welcome Back Bash
On Tuesday, January 27, athletics will hold a Make-A-Wish Awareness Night during the annual Welcome Back Bash. More details to come.

February 7 - Youth Basketball Day
Youth Basketball Day returns on February 7, as both teams host Saint Michael's College at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. All registrants will be able to participate in a free clinic with the teams following the conclusion of each game. The first 100 kids - ages 12 years and younger - who attend the basketball doubleheader will receive a free youth cap and a free cheese slice courtesy of Luigi's Pizzeria of Mineola. In addition, Luigi's will be offering all registrants of Youth Day a complimentary digital coupon for 15% off their purchase in the month of February.
