Adelphi Leads NE10 with 15 Fall Academic All-Conference Selections

Mansfield, Mass. — Fifteen Panthers have been recognized as Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honorees, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.

The 15 selections for Adelphi led the conference and are the most fall recipients in school history, surpassing the previous mark of 13 that was reached in 2016 and 2023. An exceptional group that includes seven NE10 First Team All-Conference performers and one Academic All-American (Pablo Herrera) met the minimum 3.30 cumulative grade-point average to be eligible for nomination.

The group was led by three 'Cats who achieved marks over a 3.9 GPA. Emiline Biggin of the field hockey team had the highest grade-point average of the bunch with a 3.962. On the field, Biggin was a third team all-conference selection, tallying 27 points (nine goals, nine assists).

Victor Castel earned a 3.922 cumulative GPA while being tied for the men's soccer team lead in assists with five.

Senior right-side hitter Noelle Alberda of the Adelphi volleyball team also exceeded the 3.9 threshold with a 3.903 while being second on the team in kills (303) and starring in the Panthers' thrilling NCAA tournament win over New Haven.

The women's soccer team had the most selections of any Adelphi squad with four, including first team all-conference selections Gia Mandile and Madison Apicella.

The fifteen Panthers receiving Academic All-Conference honors are: In total, the NE10 honored 99 outstanding student-athletes from seven sports for their excellence in both academic and athletic settings.
