Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce a three-year contract extension with Luigi's Pizzeria of Mineola, announced Monday in conjunction with the start of the 2024-25 school year. 

Luigi's Pizzeria of Mineola has been the official pizza sponsor of the department since 2019 and has shown tremendous support to all of Adelphi's athletics programs over the past six years.

As part of the new agreement, Adelphi students and staff will now receive 15 percent off all in-store purchases with a valid Adelphi ID - up from the previous 10 percent. Additionally, Luigi's will now be the official sponsor of the new Resident Hall Wars promotion and halftime contests during the basketball season. In addition to arena signage on Motamed Field and the Center for Recreation and Sports, the popular restaurant will continue to be recognized during home contests through live public address announcements and webcast commercials on Adelphi's online broadcast network on NE10NOW.
