Boston, Mass. - It was a near-17 second drop from the previous mark, as the Adelphi University women's distance medley relay set a new program record in the event, at the David Hemery Valentine Invite over the weekend, hosted by Boston University. 

Clocking in at 11:37.96, the squad of Katherine Marsh, Carly Koprowski, Sumaira Mayan and Isbael Marsh finished second behind Army in its section and 13th overall. 

In the short sprints, Christina Gayle and Marissa Haye posted time of 8.22 and 8.45, respectively in the 60m dash that saw them place 28th and 43rd. 

In the field, Amari Johnson hurdled to a 8.96 finish to place 12th in the hurdles invitational prelims, while finishing fourth in her heat. Also in the 60 hurdles preliminaries, Bryan Combary crossed the finish line in 8.63 for an 18th place showing. 

The program will compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships starting Friday, February 16.
