Garden City, N.Y. - With a weekend of events happening on the Garden City campus of Adelphi University, the athletics department welcomes back alumni alongside their families and friends for the seventh annual Spirit Weekend, scheduled October 12-15. 

Men's lacrosse will kick off the weekend for the 'Cats will their annually competitive alumni game on Motamed Field at. 7:00 p.m., followed by a gathering nearby. 

Saturday starts with the For a Cause 5K/Kids Fun Run, which is set to support the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. Baseball and softball will welcome back its alumni groups for on-field reps and tailgate while the men's soccer program hosts Saint Anselm College at noon. 

The swimming and diving program will unveil a new set of record boards inside the Woodruff Hall pool while welcoming back alumni for a friendly meet against the current team.
