Garden City, N.Y. - Inviting all #AUWBB alumni!

We hope to see you all in attendance at our Feb. 4 home game against Southern New Hampshire University for Alumni Day, starting at 12 noon at the Center for Recreation and Sport.

Entering its third year of existence, the Adelphi University women's basketball team welcomes back all former 'Cats to pay tribute to the life of Kerry Hamill, who lost her life in 2017 in a motor vehicle accident.

The event started in 2019 to honor the life of Hamill and her three-year-old son, Grayson, who was also lost in the tragic events of that day.

Their memories live on through Hamill's wife and fellow Adelphi alumna Lauren Pellegrino '99, who was the 11th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points.

A brunch will kick off the day's festivities at noon in Campbell Lounge, followed by the opening tip between Adelphi and SNHU at 1:30 p.m. A recognition ceremony will be held at halftime to recognize those alumni in attendance, as well as a post-game meet-and-greet with the team.
