Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi Athletics department announced today that it will be parting ways with Head Baseball Coach Dom Scala, effective immediately.

Dom Scala was the sixth baseball coach in program history and just the second head coach since 1964, when Ron Davies was at the helm until 2003. In that time, Scala posted a career record of 432-331-5 with one Northeast-10 Conference tournament title and five NCAA tournament appearances in 18 seasons.
 

Associate Head Coach Bill Ianniciello will step in to manage the team for the remainder of the 2021 campaign.
