Garden City, N.Y. - In conjunction with the Center for Student and Community Engagement and the Student and the help of the Adelphi University Student Government Association, the volleyball program will add a Pride Game to their schedule, on Tuesday, October 19. 

T-shirts with the updated Adelphi pride logo will be available for purchase for $25 - with all proceeds benefiting the Adelphi LGBTQ+ and Allies Excellence Fund. 

The University created the fund to pay for scholarships for LGBTQ+ students. The fund will recognize excellent LGBTQ+ students and give emergency grants to students who lose housing or financial support when they come out to their parents or family. The LGBTQ+ and Allies Excellence Fund was part of the Giving Day 2021 crowdfunding event, with a pair of donors pledging to match up to $5,000 in donations that day. Adelphi's goal is to raise $25,000 to endow the fund by the end of 2021.

The Panthers will play host to the University of New Haven in a 7:00 p.m. Northeast-10 Conference inside the Center for Recreation and Sports.
