Garden City, N.Y. – The Adelphi University athletics department has entered a corporate sponsorship agreement with local favorite, Moe's Southwest Grill, located in Stewart Plaza on Stewart Avenue in Garden City, Director of Athletics Danny McCabe announced Monday.
"We are proud to partner with Moe's Southwest Grill as they represent a great dining option for the Adelphi community," said McCabe. "Their goal of serving the Garden City community coincides with our philosophy here at Adelphi."
As part of Moe's package, they will receive a banner on the newly turfed Motamed Field, home to Adelphi's men's and women's soccer programs, field hockey, as well as the men's and women's lacrosse programs. In addition, they will receive signage in the Center for Recreation and Sports, home of NCAA Division II volleyball, men's and women's basketball, intramural and outside rental groups.
Moe's Southwest Grill will also join the athletics department in an effort to create a social media presence to promote their brand to the loyal followers of Adelphi athletics certified social accounts. Their initial pitch will endorse a 10% discount provided to Adelphi members for each visit, just by showing a valid ID.
