Garden City, N.Y. - Faceoff specialist Greg Puskuldjian '14 will compete in the Major League Lacrosse All-Star game, scheduled for July 27 at Navy Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
Puskuldjian joins teammates attackers Rob Pannell and Dylan Molloy, midfielder Kevin Crowley, and defenders Jack Carrigan and Ben Randall from the New York Lizards as six of 42 players selected for the event.
The faceoff specialist currently ranks tops in the league with a 59.20 win percentage, something all-too familiar for the Glen Hed, NY native.
During his time in a Panther uniform, he was honored as Division II Specialist of the Year in 2014, as announced by the association on InsideLacrosse.com and also earned USILA First-Team All-American honors, first-team All-Northeast-10 status and inclusion in the USILA North/South All-Star game. Puskuldjian finished the season ranked third in the nation in face-off win percentage at .678, and led the country in face-off wins, with 398. He also set a new school record for ground balls in a season, grabbing 166, while netting seven goals and picking up three assists.
