Smyrna, Tenn. - The Adelphi University bowling team's pre-championship schedule is now complete.

The Panthers competed in their final even before next week's East Coast Conference championships over the weekend at the famed Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt. 

Skylar McGarrity's 207.00 traditional average was good enough to place 24th in a field of over 170 bowlers to pace Adelphi in the individual standings. 

Both McGarrity and McKenna Collier rolled three 200-plus games in traditional play on the second day of the tournament, while Megan Wehmeier's back-to-back games of 207 and 215 helped Adelphi defeat Elmhurst and Tulane in head-to-head action.

McGarrity chipped in a team-high 258 against Tulane, and also led the way for Adelphi with a 237 against the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Overall, Adelphi posted a 6-7 record on the weekend and finished in 20th place.

The Brown and Gold will look to win its third league title in four years at the ECC Championships next weekend. This year's league championships will be hosted by Kutztown University from March 22-24 in Reading, Pa.
