Highlights:
- John Carver continued to be dominant on the mound, going six strong innings with eight strikeouts while allowing only three hits and one earned run.

- Johnny Catuosco went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a team-high three runs scored.
How It Happened:
- After a scoreless first inning, the Yellow Jackets got on the board first. Two singles paired with an Adelphi error led to an early 1-0 AIC lead.
- Carver bounced back in the third, and Adelphi knotted the game in the bottom half of the frame.
- A two-out Catuosco double kept the inning alive, and after Bryan McCleary was hit by a pitch, Robinson drove him in with a single to right field.
- With Carver setting down the Yellow Jackets' offense, the Panthers added to their lead with a run in both the fourth and fifth innings.
- In the fourth, a sacrifice fly from Anthony Rigogliosi made it 2-1, and Robinson's RBI groundout put the home team up 3-1.
- In the bottom of the sixth, the Panthers jumped on the AIC reliever to extend their lead to 7-1.
- Giancarlo Rengifo led off with a single, and Erick Duignan was hit by a pitch. Rigogliosi moved both runners over with a sacrifice bunt, and DeMilt delivered a triple down the right-field line to score two.
- Catuosco followed with an RBI single, driving in DeMilt, and Robinson picked up his third RBI of the day with a hard-hit double to right field.
- AIC got one back in the top of the eighth, but Colin Richardson thwarted a bases-loaded, no-out opportunity, keeping the score at 7-2.

- Zach DeMilt was 2-for-3 at the top of the lineup with a run scored.
How It Happened:

- In what became a pitchers' duel between Dylan Beirne and Leo Vitale, no runs were scored from the second through the fifth innings.
- The Yellow Jackets recorded their first hit of the game with two outs in the top of the sixth.
- With the Adelphi bats quiet, Beirne entered the seventh with the game on his shoulders. A two-out single and a pair of walks created trouble, but he escaped the jam with a popout to DeMilt.
- Beirne earned his first career complete-game shutout in the 1-0 Panther win.
