Garden City, N.Y. — The Adelphi men's tennis team returned to the courts on Tuesday afternoon for its final regional test against No. 33-ranked Queens.
Andrea Albiero and Viktor Hockl won their No. 1 doubles match, 7–5, but it was the Knights who took the first point of the day.
The visitors carried that momentum into the singles portion of the afternoon, quickly jumping out to a 3–0 lead with wins in the No. 1 and No. 4 flights.
Hockl, Thomas Horsley, and Spyridon Papageorgiou were all locked in tight three-set matches, but Queens went on to win the match, 7–0.
The Adelphi men's tennis team will be back in action on Thursday when it takes on Bentley.
