- Three innings later, Adelphi tagged on two more runs. Wagner started the inning with a single before Comer ripped a double down the left field line to score her and make it 3-0. McCarthy followed shortly after with another double, bringing Comer home and extending the lead to 4-0.
- From there, it was all Plue. The senior allowed just one hit after the second inning and turned in a dominant performance on Senior Day.

How it Happened:
- The Brown and Gold fell behind early, as Saint Anselm scored its first run of the day on an inside-the-park home run by Rose Reitmeyer.

- Parente settled in from there, keeping Saint Anselm off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.
- After five quiet innings offensively, Adelphi broke through in the sixth with a three-run rally. Tarjan singled to lead off the inning, and after Klepper was hit by a pitch, Moore singled to load the bases with nobody out.
