Rindge, N.H. — The Adelphi men's tennis team was back in action on Sunday afternoon when it took on Franklin Pierce.
The Ravens won the first doubles match of the day, but Adelphi stormed back with victories from Andrea Albiero and Viktor Hockl (6-3), and Louca Bertone and Elouan Boyer (6-2).
Coming off an NE10 Player of the Week award, Louca Bertone stayed hot with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 1 flight.
Viktor Hockl and Andrea Albiero sealed the win for the Panthers with 6-3, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-3 victories, respectively.
Franklin Pierce picked up wins in the No. 4 and No. 6 matches, but Matias Hoyos wrapped up the day with a 6-1, 6-3 victory as the Panthers' No. 5.
Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Cats will return to the courts on Thursday when they host Division III Yeshiva at the Point Set Tennis Center in Oceanside. First serve is set for 12:30 p.m.
