North Attleboro, Mass. - Adelphi University's Zeus Sara and Noah Grimaldi swept the final Northeast 10 Conference Men's Golf weekly awards, announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Sara was named Player of the Week, while Grimaldi earned Rookie of the Week honors, following a dominant stretch that saw the Panthers close out their fall campaign with back-to-back tournament victories at the NE10 Championship and Panther Invitational.

Sara finished in a tie for second place at the NE10 Championship, helping lead the Brown and Gold to their sixth conference title in program history and first since 2023. The Philippines native concluded the 54-hole tournament at five-over-par, highlighted by rounds of even-par (71) in both his opening and final rounds at Twin Hills Country Club. Across his three rounds of play, Sara totaled 14 birdies to help propel Adelphi to the team championship.

Just one day later, Sara continued his impressive play, leading the Panthers to their second consecutive tournament victory at the Panther Invitational. This time, the sophomore claimed the individual championship, finishing his 36 holes at even-par at Meadow Brook Golf Club. Sara carded rounds of 72 and 71, highlighted by six birdies and an eagle on the par-5 10th hole during his final round.

Grimaldi played a key role in Adelphi's NE10 Championship victory, delivering a strong opening day performance at Twin Hills Country Club. The freshman opened the tournament with a one-over-par (72), highlighted by five birdies, before carding a six-over-par (77) in the second round. Grimaldi ultimately finished inside the top 20, contributing to the Panthers' championship-winning performance.

At the Panther Invitational last Wednesday, Grimaldi continued his strong play, finishing in a tie for 10th place while competing as an individual. The freshman opened with a three-over-par (75), highlighted by an impressive eagle on his first hole of the tournament. During his final trip through Meadow Brook, Grimaldi carded an eight-over-par (79), adding three birdies to close out his fall campaign with another top-10 finish.

The weekly honors cap off an impressive fall campaign for the Brown and Gold, who concluded their schedule with consecutive tournament championships, including their sixth NE10 title in program history. Adelphi will now turn its attention to the spring season, having already secured a berth in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship.
