Waterbury, Conn. — After a draw with Wilmington (Del.) on Thursday night, head coach
Gary Book and the Adelphi men's soccer team returned to the field on Saturday to take on nationally ranked Post.
In the first half, the Panthers controlled most of the possession with six shots to three, but the Eagles scored the lone goal. While Adelphi was hoping to continue to control the flow of the game, lightning struck just as the second half was set to begin. The weather unfortunately never improved and the game was called a no contest.
The Panthers will return to the field on on Wednesday at 3:00 PM when they travel up to Mercy.
