Worcester, Mass. — The Adelphi men's tennis team returned to the court on Saturday afternoon when they took on NE10 foe Assumption. 

Viktor Hockl and Andrea Albiero won the first doubles match  by a score of 6-2, but it was the Greyhounds who earned the first points of the day after winning the next two. 

Thomas Horsley and Louca Bertone gave the Panthers an edge after winning their singles matches 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-2, 6-3 respectively. 

Assumption captured the no. two and three four matches with Andrea Albiero winning the important no. five match in three sets. It all came down to the no. six match with the Greyhounds coming through in two sets to secure the match, 4-3. 

Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Panthers will return to the court on Monday at 2 p.m. to take on Jefferson.
