Women's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule

8/19/2025 10:00:00 AM

Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming season, welcoming eight opponents to Motamed Field this fall.

Head coach Brooke DeRosa and her squad found plenty of success in 2024, with the season being highlighted by an NE10 regular season championship and hosting rights in the NCAA East Regional. Last year marked the Panthers' third consecutive runner-up finish in the NE10 Championship, but the talented group is eager to get over the hump in 2025 and bring hardware back to Garden City.

This season's slate begins against Wilmington (Del.) on Sept. 4 at 4 p.m., followed by a matchup with the Lions of Molloy two days later, on Sept. 6. Both matches will take place at Molloy in Rockville Centre.

The following week, Adelphi kicks off its home schedule, welcoming Holy Family to Motamed Field on Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. for the home opener. Southern Connecticut State comes to town on Sept. 12 for the first conference contest of the season.

At the conclusion of the team's five-game homestand against Caldwell (Sept. 30), the Cats will head to Waltham, Mass., for a rematch of last season's Northeast 10 semi-final, when they visit Bentley on Oct. 4. The last meeting between these squads ended in a thrilling penalty-kick shootout.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Brown and Gold will visit Franklin Pierce for a highly anticipated rematch of last year's NE10 Championship game, as DeRosa's squad seeks redemption against a well-rounded Ravens team that reached the NCAA Final Four.

Following three more conference games, the Panthers will conclude their regular season on Senior Day (Nov. 5), as they set a date with the Setters of Pace University, scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.

All NE10 contests will be streamed live on FloSports, with a special offer of $9.99/month or $5.99/month with an annual subscription for those with a .edu address.

The Northeast-10 Women's Soccer Tournament will take place from Nov. 9-16 with the higher seeded teams hosting throughout the weekend.
