Flushing, N.Y. — Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi women's tennis team returned to court for the first time in over week when they took on nearby #24 Queens College in a non-conference matchup. 

The freshman pair of Genesis Beltran and Sara Lindeman were victorious in their doubles match, 6-4 but the Knights took the other two to earn the first point. 

From there, Queens was in control as they won every singles contest but one as Zuzanna Witkowska pulled out a 3-6, 7-5, 10-8 win in the no. 2 singles match. 

Following the 6-1 loss, the 'Cats will be back in action on Tuesday to take on St. Thomas Aquinas.
