Mansfield, Mass. - For the second consecutive week, Ries Bower has been named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week, as Michael Durnin earns his second Player of the Week honor this season, announced by the league office on Monday. 

Durnin picks up his second nod with an eight-point performance against Southern New Hampshire University, as Adelphi neared its program record in scoring with 27 goals. With the help of Durnin's eight points, they set a new single game record for total team points, with 48 - the previous mark stood at 46. Along the way, Durnin also scooped up three ground balls and posted a 87.5 percent shot on goal percentage. 

Bower has not let up being a menace to opponent's offenses, causing four turnovers against SNHU with five ground balls. Adelphi's defense continues to keep opponents in single digit scoring as they head into the biggest weekend of the season thus far. 

Adelphi's next test will take place on Saturday, Apr. 5 when the team heads to Saint Anselm to take on the undefeated Hawks. The pair are two of the last three remaining unbeaten teams in Division II. Opening faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
