Greenwood, Ind. – On Wednesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced the Men's Academic All-America At-Large teams.

Adelphi men's lacrosse players Michael Durnin and Kyle Lewis were both honored as Academic All-Americans.

For the second time in two years, the Adelphi men's lacrosse team has a First Team Academic All-American® member, with Durnin following in Lewis' footsteps from last year.

Durnin earned a 3.926 grade-point average as an accounting major. The attackman led Adelphi in goals with 57 and was second on the team with 75 points. He was named a Second Team All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine and won the NE10 Elite 24 Award for the second straight season.

Lewis finishes his collegiate career with a 3.665 grade-point average in physical education. The midfielder was named the Northeast 10 Player of the Year while also being recognized as the Adelphi Male Athlete of the Year and an All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine, USILA and Inside Lacrosse. He tallied 63 points on the season (35 goals, 28 assists) and led the Adelphi men's lacrosse team to its third straight NCAA Championship game.
