Mansfield, Mass. - Following another flawless week for Adelphi men's lacrosse, sophomores Ries Bower and Braden Donnellan have been named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player and Player of the Week, respectively, announced by the conference office on Monday. 

Bower continued to support Adelphi's defensive stands, holding both American International and Bentley to single digit scoring as the Panthers picked up two more wins to remain undefeated. Against his former institution, he found the back of the cage twice and over the two games totaled 10 ground balls with three caused turnovers against the Falcons. 

Donnellan led the Panthers again on offense, scoring five goals and  distributing nine assists over two games, including a hat trick against no. 11 Bentley. His shot on goal percentage against AIC was up over 80 percent and he posted a new career-high six assists in the landslide win. Additionally, he totaled four ground balls and two caused turnovers. 

Adelphi continues its NE10 schedule on Saturday, March 29 when they host Southern New Hampshire. Originally set for 1:00 p.m., the game time has been shifted back to 5:00 p.m. on Motamed Field.
