West Palm Beach, Fla. - Starting off the spring portion of their schedule, the Adelphi University men's golf team took home an eighth place finish at the annual Keiser Kup hosted by Keiser University.
The team shot a collective 67-over 919 over the three day tournament consisting of 14 teams and 13 schools.
Senior
Mason Rivera led the way for the Panthers, shooting just nine-over to finish in a tie for 11th. He anchored his performance off of his first and third rounds, going just three total strokes over par.
Freshman
Mitchell Archer followed behind his elder, stopping in at 37th place after a compiling an 18-over 231.
Francis Lanuza trailed just behind at 39th, only one stroke behind Archer.
Johnny Solari and
Alec Ramos rounded out the Brown and Gold scorecard, both tallying a 26-over 239.
Head Coach
David Mattana and the 'Cats will remain out in the Sunshine State for the latter half of March, returning for the Saint Anselm Florida Invitational held in Orlando. Competition from Eagle Creek Golf Club will commence on Monday, March 24 and end the following day on Tuesday, March 25.
