Indianapolis, Ind. - For the 16th time in Head Coach Danielle MacKnight's tenure, the Adelphi University volleyball program has punched its ticket to the NCAA East Region tournament, scheduled to begin Thursday, Dec. 4. 

As the no. 2 seed, the Panthers will return to play at Bentley University - who claimed the top-seed after putting together an undefeated conference season and 11th NE10 Championship crown. The Cats will take on no. 7 Holy Family in the first round of play at 1:30 p.m. inside the Dana Center. For the full East Region bracket, see below. 

Adelphi has played everyone in the East Region field at least once this season and has played three others who appear in the overall field (Lynn, Gannon and St. Cloud State). Against the East, the Panthers hold a 5-3 record, posting losses to Bentley, Post and most recently, American International. 

During the regular season, the Brown and Gold topped their first round opponent - the Tigers - in three sets. NE10 Player of the Year Macarty McQueen totaled a team-high 16 kills and capped the double-double with 10 digs. First Team All-Conference selection Ana Carolina Westerich was responsible for 30 assists in the matchup.
