Indianapolis, Ind. — For the first time since 2022, the Adelphi men's soccer team has made the NCAA tournament. As an at-large bid, the Panthers earned the No. 5 seed in Super-Region 1 and will be taking on No. 4 Charleston on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m.

Led by All-Conference selections Ryan Holt, Lucas Nicolaou, Alessio Consoli, Sam Nolan and Rory Duggan, Adelphi currently has a 9-5-4 record and nearly pulled off an upset of Northeast 10 regular season champion Bentley in the conference semifinal.

Super-Region 1 features four other NE10 teams in Franklin Pierce, Southern New Hampshire and the aforementioned Bentley as well as CACC and ECC champions Bridgeport and Roberts Wesleyan. Franklin Pierce is the one seed and earned hosting duties with Gannon (six seed), Wilmington (Del.) (seven seed) and Post (eight seed) rounding out the field.

The Panthers hold a 0-1-1 record against the Golden Eagles with the last matchup being in the 2022 NCAA tournament. The pair met in the 2016 national quarterfinal with Charleston advancing on penalty kicks.

Tickets for the second round matchup between Adelphi and Charleston can be found here.
