Pleasantville, N.Y. - The Adelphi men's basketball team took down Molloy on Sunday afternoon for their second win of the year by a score of 87-74. 

How It Happened:

• The Panthers (2-0) were on fire in the first half, out scoring the Lions 58-27. Shooting an impressive 61.8% in the period, Adelphi was lead by Dayshaun Walton who scored 21 points and went 8-9 from the floor. 
• Patrick Burke led both teams with nine rebounds in as Adelphi out rebounded Queens 39-28. 
• The Lions tried to mount a second half comeback but the 31-point halftime deficit was too much to overcome. 

Highlights:

• Walton scored a game-high 31, shooting 10-13 from the floor and 6-7 from beyond the arc. He was one of four Panthers to reach double-figures. 
• Reece Brown both scored 13 with Mason Jackson (12 points) and Zakari McQueen (10 points) close behind.
• Freshmen Carter Wilson and London Carson combined for seven points off of the bench.
• Jarnel Rancy had an impressive game defensively, blocking six shots and putting him 62 behind the all-time Division II record.
