Manchester, N.H. — After a convincing win over Saint Anselm on Saturday, the Adelphi women's tennis team went for its second victory in as many days when it took on Southern New Hampshire.
Once again, as they have all season, the Panthers dominated in doubles play with all three pairings winning their matches 6-2 to earn Adelphi the first point of the day.
The story continued into singles play as five of the six matches were won in straight sets by Adelphi.
Roisin Boyd was impressive in a 6-0, 6-1 win. Her doubles partner, Katarina Liedbevk quickly followed that up with a 6-2, 6-1 victory. Sara Lindeman and Genesis Beltran continued their electric sophomore seasons with respective 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 wins. Oda Solevag Halvorsen wrapped up the day with a 6-4, 6-2 victory as the Panthers brought him a 6-1 team win.
Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi women's tennis team will return to the court on Tuesday when they travel up to Bentley.
