Men’s Tennis Takes Down Southern New Hampshire 6-1

Oceanside, N.Y. — On Saturday, rainy conditions forced the Adelphi men's tennis team to move its match against Southern New Hampshire to Point Set Racquet Club in Oceanside. 

The Panthers started off hot with their top two doubles teams of Hugo Munoz Reinoso/Reece Farrow and Marko Jovanovic/Viktor Hockl grabbing victories. 

Munoz Reinoso and Farrow defeated the SNHU #1 duo by a score of 7-5 while Jovanovic and Hockl won easily 6-0.

Jovanovic, Hockl and Munoz Reinoso were able to keep their hot hands going as they all won their singles matches. 

Jovanovic won by a score of 7(7)-6(3), 6-4. 

Hockl was victorious 6-1, 7-5. 

Munoz Reinoso battled for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win. 

Casey Recci was excellent once again, winning his match 6-4, 6-4. 

In the number six matchup, freshman Yannick Stolz was dominant, taking home a 6-0, 6-1 victory. 

The 'Cats would win the match 6-1 and will return to the court on Saturday, Oct. 5 when they travel to Saint Michael's.
