Wheeling, W.Va. - As teams around the region get ready for the postseason, the Adelphi University men's golf team finished in a tie for 12th place at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Preview, hosted by West Liberty University at Oglebay Resort. 

The course will serve as the same site of the impending Super Regional starting on May 10. In a competition amongst 26 other institutions, the Brown and Gold finished around the middle of the pack. Their two-day score of 62-over 630 was highest among any NE10 school who competed. 

Johnny Solari had the best total score of any Panther, with his 11-over good enough for 23rd place overall. Fellow sophomore Francis Lanuza finished with a 15-over 157 to slide in at 43rd. 

Freshman Axel Romney came in at 47th, just a stroke behind Lanuza with a 156. Filip Wetterqvist's two-day tally of 162 rounded the team scoring. 

Head Coach David Mattana and the Panthers will now look ahead to their first home competition since October. The Adelphi Spring Invitational will take place on Thursday (Apr. 25), at Fresh Meadows Country Club in Lake Success, N.Y.
