Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

#5 Men's Lacrosse Unable to Hold Off #2 Rollins

Garden City, N.Y. - In a clean game under cloudy skies, the Adelphi men's lacrosse team held a lead going into the fourth quarter, but were outscored in the finale to drop a 14-12 decision to no. 2 Rollins College on Saturday afternoon.

With a chance to take down an undefeated Tars team, the Panthers went into the last quarter up by one, and led by two following back-to-back goals from Logan Tucker, to make it 11-9. Rollins's Sean Caracciolo tallied his second of the year when he scored for the visitors after nearly eight minutes of scoreless action to cut the home team advantage to one.

Tucker had no problem adding his hat trick tally just seconds later to once again put the hosts up by two with 11:04 to play in regulation.

Rollins went on to win six of the eight faceoffs in the frame, outscoring the Panthers (2-2) 5-2 in the quarter to remain undefeated in 2024.

Kyle Lewis made some statement goals in the loss, finishing with four on six shots on goal, while Tucker added a hat trick and assist to finish with four points.

Adelphi men's lacrosse will return to action on Saturday, March 16 when they trip to Bentley University to open up Northeast-10 Conference play.
