Colchester, VT - With just three games left on the regular season schedule, the Adelphi University volleyball team went into the Ross Sports Center and defeated Saint Michael's College on Saturday, in a three-set decision.
Delaney Kiendra was the team's offensive leader for the second consecutive match, posting an impressive .538 hitting percentage. None of the Panthers reached double-figure kills, but 11 different players recorded a kill or more in the victory.
Kambel Fiser, who paced the offense with 34 assists was also responsible for a team-leading six service aces, as the team recorded a staggering 13-2 advantage in that statistic.
Despite the first and second sets remaining relatively close in final score, the Panthers (19-8, 6-2 NE10) put together a 13-kill performance with just two errors and a team hitting percentage of 0.478, to keep the Purple Knights in single digit scoring, 25-9.
